I was extremely happy with the Monterey Hanzomon and will definitely not hesitate to stay again on my next trip to Tokyo. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak English for those who don't speak Japanese. The hotel is located in a very convenient spot to easily get to all major tourist spots. It is within reasonable walking distance of the Imperial palace, Yasukuni shrine, Jimbo-cho and Ginza. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the bathroom. Perhaps the only downside of the hotel was the cost of the breakfast service though this is just a personal preference as I'm not a big breakfast eater. Not to worry, there are plenty of coffee shops in the immediate vicinity.
