Suntory Museum of Art, Tokyo

Along with the National Art Center Tokyo and the Mori Art Museum, the Suntory Museum of Art forms the Roppongi Art Triangle, transforming the art and cultural activities of Midtown Tokyo. Reopened in this rich green section of Tokyo, the new Suntory Museum building is a work of art in itself, designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma.

With the theme "Art in Life," the museum crosses time, place, and culture, linking ancient and modern art, from the east to the west. With everything from lacquerware and ceramics to paintings and glass, the collection also includes more than 3,000 pieces related to Japanese life.

After taking in a gallery tour, visitors can peruse the museum shop, try Kaga-style wheat gluten cakes in the cafe, or take in a full panoramic view of the city from the Tokyo City View at Roppongi Hills observation deck, located on the top floors of the Mori Tower.
