Hibiya Park Kikkaten - Tokyo Hotels .com

Pink flowers at the Hibiya Park Kikkaten

If you missed the flowering cherry blossoms of the spring, don't worry. The chrysanthemum, Japan's other symbolic flower, pops up in the fall. As chrysanthemums have long been a symbol for Japanese emperors and the Imperial family, numerous festivals in Tokyo and its surrounding areas are dedicated to these beauties.

November is the peak time for the Kikkaten (exhibition of chrysanthemums), and at Hibiya Park visitors can view the blooms for the whole month of November. Close to the Imperial Palace and a short walk from Ginza, this tranquil space is a refreshing alternative to the bustling shopping area that surrounds it.

Hibiya Park is located at 1-6 Hibiya-koen Chiyoda-ku in Tokyo and can be reached through Hibiya Station via the Hibiya, Ginza, and Chiyoda lines.
